Program Format
- The AEL is a two-year virtual program that begins in August and ends in April. The program takes a break during May, June, and July each year.
- Group size is limited to help foster strong cohort relationships and create an intimate learning experience.
- Each month features a new leadership topic presented during a one-hour live or recorded online seminar.
- Participants are required to discuss and report on the topic with their designated mentor or guide within their organization.
- Participants are also required to complete one development goal each month designed around the leadership topic.
- Program tracking and goal measurement are available through a secure online portal.

Development Goals
- After each one-hour topic is completed, participants will identify and accomplish one related goal in the next 30 days.
- A list of potential goals is provided, and participants choose and tailor the goal to fit their strengths and areas for improvement, as well as the needs of their organization.
- All development goals are discussed with mentors/guides and completed forms are turned into the faculty as part of program completion.
