Mentorship Options

To ensure support at every step, participants have two choices: they can be paired with a respected leader from within their company to serve as a Provided Guide, or the AEL will provide a dedicated Cain Ellsworth (CE) Guide at an additional cost.

Provided Guide

Participants, along with support of their company, will select a mentor guide willing to walk alongside them throughout the leadership journey.

  • N Your provided company guide will oversee progress and help the emerging leader set and accomplish goals.
  • N There is no cost for guide participation supplied from within your company.
  • N Guide training and tools are free as part of the AEL program. (However, the yearly conference is optional and the costs for this opportunity are not included).

Provided Guide Requirements

  • N Must be an experienced and passionate community bank leader
  • N Willing and available to fulfill the guide role for the duration of the two-year program
  • N Capable of providing necessary feedback, advice and support for each of the development goals and the development project
  • N Keep up on the monthly topics by watching the one-hour webinars
  • N Agree to report progress, successes, challenges and concerns to AEL in regard to the participant
  • N Capable of providing necessary feedback, advice and support for each of the development goals and the development project

CE Guide

Organizations that don’t have a realistic internal guide can utilize a highly qualified CE Guide throughout the two-year program. Cost for this service is an additional $2,995. This includes:

  • N A dedicated guide from Cain Ellsworth to support the participant.
  • N Monthly one hour check-ins.
  • N Assistance in helping participants set, track and adjust goals and projects.
  • N Feedback plus coaching support between sessions to keep progress moving.
  • N Accountability support and a consistent mentor for questions, direction and follow-through.
